The Jim Vanier Youth Fund (JVYF) is dedicated to carrying on the extraordinary 50-year legacy of Jim Vanier. Jim spent his life mentoring, protecting, and supporting the children of Lebanon, New Hampshire. Our mission is simple: to ensure that no local child goes without the essential items, educational tools, or recreational opportunities they need to thrive. By removing financial barriers, we give every youth in our community the chance to grow, play, and succeed.

Core Areas of Support

 

We provide direct financial assistance to local families to cover critical needs that fall into three main pillars:

• Essential Needs: Funding for daily necessities, including adequate seasonal clothing, proper footwear (carrying on the historic Pat Walsh sneaker fund tradition), and nutritional support.

• Educational Support: Resources to help students excel in the classroom, covering essentials like backpacks, calculators, notebooks, and other vital school supplies.

• Recreational Activities: Coverage for registration fees, equipment, and gear for local sports, arts, and community programs so every child can stay active and engaged.
